[The boy was young far too young to be dragged into the politics of the church, however dragged he was. It wasn't quite apparent what his relatives had planned for him yet, but it was something worth watching. In fact it was a popular topic for all who cared, what sort of power play would they experience.

Alessandro however was unaware of most of this and instead kept to himself as the adults talked and played their political games through wit, and gentle conversation. Gentle conversation that was far from peaceful once the mask was removed, but that has always been the face of politics.

The boy found himself wandering the halls alone as others spoke of his fate. Would he really have to join the church? He had never thought of it before....]
